Travel Vaccinations

global air travel

From the 1st of April 2022, travel health services will no longer be provided by General Practice.

Information on what vaccinations you require for travelling, together with malarial and safe travel advice can now be found at https://www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk/home.aspx. The website allows you to select your destination and then view the requirements for there before contacting the providers on the Healthboard website.

Four travel vaccines are available on the NHS and will not cost you any money. These are Typhoid, Hepatitis A, DPT and Cholera. Any other vaccinations will require a payment.

Information About The Coronavirus

COVID Sense

Please see the above link for a poster from the Scottish Government  regarding healthcare settings and wearing of face coverings.

GP practices, and our staff, are very busy tackling the Covid19 pandemic and giving care and advice to you. To make sure we all stay safe, your healthcare may be provided in a different way than before. You may have a video or phone consultation, instead of a face to face one. You may need to call to order repeat prescriptions, instead of ordering in the practice.

Please respect our staff during this difficult time for everyone. Find out more at https://www.nhsggc.org.uk/your-health/know-who-to-turn-to/gp/

Please do not attend the surgery unless you have been advised to do so by a clinician. If you have to pick something up or hand something into the surgery, please come to the window at the front of the building where a member of staff can help you.

Due to the evolving COVID-19 (coronavirus) situation, we have suspended all routine appointments from Wednesday 18th of March 2020.

If you have a cough, fever, sore throat, diarrhoea/vomiting, shortness of breath, wheeze or muscle aches and pain, please DO NOT attend the surgery. Please call 111 instead to speak with the coronavirus service.

If you need any other advice, please call the surgery on 0141 883 8838. To keep phone lines as clear as possible, we can also communicate with you via our email address of reception.gp@nhs.scot.
