Repeat Prescriptions

Nice_vlue_pillsPrescriptions should be made in writing and forwarded to the surgery in one of the following ways:

  • By hand - drop your repeat slip (or a letter) into us.
  • By post  - send it to us with a stamped addressed envelope if you want it posted back to you.
  • By fax  - to 0141 810 1511
  • By email  - to reception.gp@nhs.scot
  • By Patient Access:  Patient Access (please ask staff for registration details, patient will be asked to fill in registration form and present photograph identification)

We do not accept requests for repeat prescriptions over the telephone but you can make your own arrangement with local pharmacies to do this.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see a doctor, nurse practitioner or practice nurse at least once a year to review these regular medications and notification should appear on your repeat slip.Please ensure that you book an appropriate appointment to avoid unnecessary delays to further prescriptions.

Symbol Error 3Please allow 48 hours for prescriptions to be processed and remember to take weekends and bank holidays into account.
